New Ideas in Classical Electrodynamics and Physics of the Plasma

Abstract
Until now, some problems of classical electrodynamics involving the laws of electromagnetic induction have been interpreted in a dual or even contraversal way. As an example, let us consider how the homopolar operation is explained in different works. In [1] this is done using the Faraday low specified for the “discontinuous motion” case. In [2] the rule of flow is rejected and the operation of the homopolar generator is explained on the basis of the Lorentz force acting upon charges.
