Abstract

In this study, some properties of timelike parallel surfaces have been investigated in Minkowski 3-space. The main motivation of this work is to study the conditions under which parallel surfaces of timelike ruled surfaces with timelike ruling become timelike ruled surfaces. Also some characterizations of ruled surfaces such as distribution parameter, striction curve and orthogonal trajectory have been given for timelike parallel ruled surfaces.
